Vicki is the author of three property books that started as a single e-book, but grew and grew! I really enjoyed speaking to her recently. While we chatted, she shared information about some of her challenges and successes in property and explained what led to her switch from education to working as an investor, sourcer, coach and author.

2008 was not the easiest of times to begin building a portfolio. This was still in the early stages of the credit crunch. It was becoming more and more difficult to borrow funds from financial institutions who had decided they were none too keen to lend on property. Vicki met these challenges head on, got educated, made mistakes, learned from them then never looked back. Now, she regularly works with other investors as a sourcer or mentor.

With a background as a teacher and lecturer, she is passionate about educating the younger generation about financial matters. This is evident in her most recent book “Property for the Next Generation“. What steps do we, as parents, need to take to guide them in a financial future that will be very different from the one that we have been familiar with? How can provide adequate financial education for our children along with all the other parental responsibilities? Vicki gives us a few suggestions.
